The Fort Nelson School District serves students from the town of Fort Nelson and the Northern Rockies Regional District. The School District has five schools. There are four schools in the township of Fort Nelson, the J.S. Clark Elementary School, the G.W. Carlson Elementary School serving kindergarten to Grade four students, the R.L. Angus Elementary School serving students in Grades 5 to 7, and Fort Nelson Secondary School serving students in Grades 8 to 12. Our one rural school, Toad River School serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Vision "As a community of learners we embrace opportunities to build successful futures." |

Kindergarden Registration January 23-27, 2012  In order for School District #81 (Fort Nelson, BC) to finalize plans for Kindergarten students, it is extremely IMPORTANT that
parents/guardians of ALL CHILDREN BORN IN 2007 register their children at their neighborhood school (GW Carlson School at 250-774-6941, or JS Clark School at 250- 774-3145) from January 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27, 2012 between the hours of 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact your neighborhood school. Although we have no restricted boundaries for school registration in force, please be aware that bussing is conditional upon your address and there are class size restrictions. BIRTH CERTIFICATES, CARE Cards and CURRENT PROOF OF ADDRESS will be required. |
