The District has a limited number of qualified Teachers on Call for the purpose of assigning teachers to vacancies on a short term basis (less than twenty days). TTOCs in Fort Nelson typically work 4 to 5 days per week. The Fort Nelson School District serves students from the town of Fort Nelson and the Northern Rockies Regional District. The School District has five schools. There are four schools in the township of Fort Nelson, the J.S. Clark Elementary School, the G.W. Carlson Elementary School serving kindergarten to Grade four students, the R.L. Angus Elementary School serving students in Grades 5 to 7, and Fort Nelson Secondary School serving students in Grades 8 to 12.
