Kindergarten 2010 - 2011

In the Open Board Meeting of January 19, 2010, S.D. #81’s Board of Education announced the following: Fort Nelson will not be implementing Full Day Kindergarten for September 2010/11.

There are many unknown factors for next year, within the District and the Ministry of Education regarding budget, space and programming.

We want all of our Kindergarten students and parents to have an equal opportunity for Full Day K rather than the two-thirds currently provided for. Therefore, after consideration and discussion, we have decided to implement Full Day Kindergarten in September 2011/12.
