Welcome to the School District No. 81 Homepage
Bussing Change for 2018-2019
As of September 5th, 2018 and going forward there will be a reduction to three busses as opposed to the four we’ve had in the past.
With 2018 – 2019 Budget deliberations all services by School District #81 were reviewed. It was identified that we have fewer out-of-town families that require bussing. We have been able to negotiate with our bussing contractor to reduce our number of busses by one (from four to three). This reduction represents significant cost savings that have been used to maintain service levels in other areas for our students.
Our Winter In-Town bussing will require earlier pick-up times in the morning and later drop-off times in the afternoon/evening. Please be aware that some stops have been added/removed with our updated Bussing Schedule. Please remind riders to be at their designated bus stop 5 minutes before their scheduled pick up time.
For the safety and comfort of all students, it is advised students have appropriate winter apparel (winter coats, hand, head and foot wear) while riding the bus. Unknown circumstances and delays may arise at any time and it is important students are dressed appropriately for winter weather
