Safety Of Eating Tuna-  by A.R.M.Y & Mooinater.
Mercury comes from air pollution. It rains down onto lakes, rivers and ocean. It could come from industrial areas and any sort of power plants. It is very unhealthy to eat tuna with a high mercury level.

The two main types of tuna is, Light (Usually Skipjack) and White. (albacore) All white tuna is albacore

  • Remember when it comes to tuna  the bigger the fish the higher level of Mercury.  Look out for any labels on your can that says “Gourmet” or “Tonno.”   They are made with bigger yellowfin and include mercury levels comparable to canned white.
